How do you open the bottle? A simple twist and it was off. Simple twist it was on. Like a regular bottle. Twist. You press lightly and a lit mist comes out and when you press all the way a prolong mist comes out. It creates a nice mist, not a stream of water. I use it to wet my hair to style it.
